A place of our own in Wairau

Te Piki Oranga in Wairau / Marlborough has relocated to its new hauora hub in the former library building on Arthur St.

A dawn blessing for the Wairau Hauora Hub was held on 19 June, to prepare the tari and consultation rooms for kaimahi and whānau.

Ricky Carr, Pūkenga Kaiwhakahaere (site manager) for Wairau, says that being based in the Marlborough Health Hub (Queen St) had worked well for the past six years but that Te Piki Oranga had outgrown the space.

With a 10-year lease newly in place for the ground floor of the council-owned building, Te Piki Oranga has rennovated the rooms and fitted them out. We will continue to communicate updates about the new hub on our social media and here on our website.

The photos below are from the dawn blessing and will automatically scroll through.
