Tā mātou kitenga me te taukī whakatakanga
Our vision and mission statements
Te kitenga describes our long-term moemoeā (vision) for whānau, and te taukī whakatakanga describes how we work with whānau to achieve this vision.
Ngā uara
Our values
Ngā uara (values) belong to te ao Māori, the Māori worldview and way of life. Te Piki Oranga has carefully chosen six uara that resonate most strongly with our whakapapa and our kaupapa.
Te Puna Hauora
Our source of wellbeing
Te Puna Hauora is the model of care, or framework, for how we provide services.
Ō mātou pou rautaki
Our strategic pou
Our Mahere Rautaki (Strategic Plan) 2023-2028 guides Te Piki Oranga as we navigate ongoing change in government structure, health system settings and population demographics.
With its clear strategic pou (goals), the plan guides our development, ways of working and growth.
Te Manu Aute – te tohu o Te Piki Oranga
The kite – the logo of Te Piki Oranga
Te tohu o Te Piki Oranga is the symbol of te manu aute – a traditional Māori kite often made in the shape of bird, using the bark of the aute (paper mulberry) plant.
