About this service
-
Our Adult Mental Health Whānau Navigation Service supports whānau who are already accessing mental health services through Health NZ / Te Whatu Ora.
There is some room for whānau who are not already with Health NZ. Please get in touch with us using the contact details on this page.
-
Our pūkenga manaaki (mental health support workers) provide recovery‑oriented assessment, treatment, and therapeutic support.
Our service is grounded in a kaupapa Māori framework, recognising the importance of whānau, culture, connection, and holistic wellbeing.
We are responsive to the needs of tangata whaiora (people seeking wellness) and their whānau, walking alongside them on their journey toward wellness. We’re here to make things feel less overwhelming and to help whānau feel confident, informed, supported, and listened to throughout their care journey.
-
Our pūkenga manaaki can:
support whānau to navigate the mental health system with confidence
share information in clear, easy‑to‑understand ways
help maintain open communication between whānau and clinicians
advocate alongside whānau so their voices, values, and aspirations are reflected in their care plan
