Kaitautoko hapori are qualified to support whānau with:
Solutions and guidance to reach health goals
Support to navigate the health system
Assistance to access the best services
They excel at supporting whānau in the areas of emotional wellbeing, exercise, healthy eating, quitting smoking, living with long-term conditions (eg diabetes) and more.
Where can I access a health coach?
Kaitautoko hapori work from the following locations:
St Lukes Health Centre in Whakatū / Nelson
Manu Ora Medical Centre in Wairau / Blenheim
Stoke Medical in Stoke, Whakatū / Nelson
Picton Medical Centre in Waitohi / Picton

If you are an enrolled patient at one of the four medical centres listed above, then you can ask to see a Te Piki Oranga health coach.
You may also be able to see a health coach or health improvement practitioner at your medical centre, who is not a Te Piki Oranga kaimahi.
