Te Piki Oranga is a regional Māori health provider delivering health services across Te Tau Ihu, working in a Whānau Ora framework and "Te Ao Māori".
Te Piki Oranga is looking for a permanent full time (30-40 hours) Whānau Ora Navigator.
The position will be based at our Motueka hub at Te Āwhina marae and service Motueka and surrounding areas. The successful candidate will be supported by a larger Kaupapa Māori Health team of nurses and social workers.
Te Piki Oranga provides services in the community, the purpose of this role is to:
To provide a support service that is accessible, integrated, coordinated and responsive to Māori/whānau needs
To liaise, facilitate and advocate with appropriate organisations on behalf of whānau
Ability to handle situations effectively and respectfully
Knowledge of Te Reo me Ona Tikanga
Good communication skills
