Te Piki Oranga is a regional Māori health provider delivering health services across Te Tau Ihu, working in a Whānau Ora framework and "Te Ao Māori".
Te Piki Oranga is looking for a part time (16 hours) person with health / allied health experience to work with Māori from the Motueka community, and knowledgeable of Te Reo me Ona Tikanga. This position will based in Motueka at Te Awhina marae. The successful person can start immediately.
The purpose of this role is to:
- To reduce inequalities of care to Koroua and Kuia by improving the knowledge and understanding of whānau about health services available for Koroua and Kuia.
- Identify unmet need, enable access and utilisation of existing services.
- Enhance positive social and functional activities for Koroua and Kuia through the coordination of a Day programme (5 hours per week).
