Te Piki Oranga is a regional Māori health provider delivering health services across Te Tau Ihu, working in a Whānau Ora framework and "Te Ao Māori".

Te Piki Oranga is looking for a FULL TIME (30 - 40 hours) Whānau Ora Navigator - Pūkenga Manaaki. The team is expanding and a fixed term one year position  based in our new central Blenheim office is now open for the right person. The successful candidate will be part of a larger Kaupapa Māori Health Team.

Hours are negotiable as is start date, however immediate start is available.

The purpose of this role is to:

  • To provide a support service in the community that is accessible, integrated, coordinated and responsive to Māori/whānau needs,

  • To liaise, facilitate and advocate with appropriate organisations on behalf of whānau alongside a clinical team and social workers.

Desirable qualifications:

  • Ability to handle situations effectively and respectfully,

  • Knowledge of Te Reo me Ona Tikanga, 

  • Good communication skills.
