Te Piki Oranga is a regional Māori health provider delivering health services across Te Tau Ihu, working in a Whānau Ora framework and "Te Ao Māori".

Te Piki Oranga is looking for a permanent part time (20 hours) Pūkenga Manaaki - CAMHS Mental Health Navigator as an addition to the team of clinicians, working closely with DHB, other ministries and NGOs. You will have experience working with Māori whānau. This position will be based in our new Blenheim/Wairau office.

The purpose of this role is to:

  • To provide a support service that is accessible, integrated, coordinated and responsive to Māori/whānau needs,

  • To liaise, facilitate and advocate with appropriate organisations on behalf of tamariki, rangatahi and their whānau.

Desirable qualifications:

  • Ability to handle stressful situations effectively and respectfully,

  • Knowledge of Te Reo me Ona Tikanga, 

  • Allied health or social service qualification, 

  • Good communication skills.

Hours are negotiable as is start date, however immediate start is available.
