Te Piki Oranga is a regional Māori health provider delivering health services across Te Tau Ihu (Nelson Marlborough), working in a Whānau Ora framework and "Te Ao Māori".

Te Piki Oranga is looking for a  part time (20 hours) registered Social Worker, experienced in working with Māori in the community to cover maternity leave for 6 months. This position will be based in Nelson/Whakatū.

 The purpose of this role is to:

  • Enable whānau to access and receive community social services to determine their health and social well-being outcomes.

  • Develop, implement, monitor and review whānau plans to address identified hauora goals.
  • Develop and maintain effective networks with community health and social services.
