Whānau Ora Nehi Arahanga/Clinical Lead Nurse (Wairau/Blenheim)

Te Piki Oranga is a regional Māori health provider delivering health services across Te Tau Ihu (Nelson Marlborough) working in a Whānau Ora framework and "Te Ao Māori".

Te Piki Oranga is looking for a full time registered nurse to hold a 0.5 FTE Clinical Lead role and a 0.5 FTE Community Nursing role.This position will be based in Wairau/Blenheim delivering health care to Māori whānau in the community.

This  will suit an experienced nurse who enjoys developing practice, and who will;

  •  Support TPO clinicians and Pūkenga Manaaki (non-clinical support staff) in their service delivery.
  • Monitor that kaimahi/staff have fully documented client files that includes at a minimum, assessment, treatment plan, recovery plan, risk assessment and up to date clinical notes.
  • Work with Pūkenga Kaiwhakahaere (Clinical Team Leader) to develop quality practice.
  • Work in partnership with key staff and stakeholders to develop relationships.
